Fiona Gavine
Fiona is passionate about growing businesses and truly believes (through experience)  that if you get the hard stuff and the soft stuff  in balance then you've got a great chance of making a great business.

Fiona has extensive first class experience in a broad range of industries: Electronics/Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing and Medical Research.  She is a strong business partner who works with the business to achieve goals without compromising on fundamentals and with particular focus on growth and results. Also experienced at developing Strategy and Policy at senior levels. 

Fiona has 22 years experience in Industry and Commerce; in Finance, Operational, Business and Strategy roles, the last 13 years at Senior Management/ Director level. 

Following a brief spell carrying out post- graduate Biochemical research she trained with Touche Ross and Co and became a Chartered Accountant prior to moving back into the science world of ICI plc. Significant Blue-chip experience followed:  Zeneca plc, Compaq plc and Hewlett Packard plc.

Fiona is currently a non-executive director  and Audit Committee Chair of a Government Agency . She is also a Mentor for the Royal Society of Edinburgh  Fellowship students.

   

Along with Agnes she crews November Lady , a 31ft yacht, which races off the West Coast of Scotland.   Agnes gets the easy jobs.

Agnes Hendry
A highly skilled and motivated HRD professional with an extensive track record in the fields of Organisational Development, Process Improvement, Change management and Management and Employee Development. Extremely proficient in working effectively at all levels of the organisation; Agnes has been particularly successful in applying her facilitation and diagnostic skills with Senior Management teams to assist in the identification of Culture and Values solutions.

Agnes Hendry  

 With a passionate belief in empowering employees to undertake responsibility for their own career and personal development Agnes is able to flex the range of HRD roles from Consultant to Trainer. 

In addition to extensive experience in the NHS , Agnes has blue-chip experience with Compaq plc as their  Human Resources Development Manager. Agnes is also a Director of Clearwater Brookes ltd .

Shona Struthers
Shona has 17 years finance experience in industry, 10 years at strategic and senior level. She joined ICI C&P as a graduate trainee and completed her finance training whilst working there. She then went on to join Zeneca Plc in 1995 – 1999 as Finance and Planning manager and since then as Finance Manager for Avecia Ltd. 

She also has business experience in company start-ups and was a Director of Webaspx, a successful computer software company, during its start-up phase.

 

 

Shona is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. She also has nine years experience in the voluntary sector at the Falkirk Women’s Technology Centre, two years as current chairperson and seven years as treasurer. She has more recently joined the Board of the Scottish Further Education Unit as an Industry representative.
